Intensive & Concierge Services

Some children and families require a level of support beyond what can be provided in standard weekly therapy.

I recommend this level of care when symptoms related to anxiety, OCD, or ADHD are significantly interfering with daily functioning, or when prior treatment has not led to meaningful improvement. In these situations, the difficulty is not simply a matter of strategy or consistency—rather, the clinical severity of the problem requires more direct and immediate therapeutic involvement.

Treatment shifts to more frequent sessions, work in home or community settings, and direct therapeutic support in real time.

When a More Intensive Approach Is Recommended

This level of care is typically indicated when:

  • A child is unable to attend or return to school consistently

  • Anxiety or OCD symptoms are escalating, not improving with prior treatment, or interfering with daily functioning

  • ADHD-related dysregulation, impulsivity, or behavioral challenges are significantly disrupting home or school environments

  • Daily routines or necessary activities (school, leaving the house, completing tasks) have become difficult to initiate or sustain

  • Family life is increasingly organized around managing symptoms rather than typical routines

What This Level of Care Involves

Intensive or concierge care typically includes:

  • More frequent or extended sessions

  • In-home or community-based work

  • Direct therapeutic support during situations that are difficult for a child or teen to approach independently

  • Real-time guidance for parents during moments when a child is unable or unwilling to engage in necessary tasks due to anxiety, OCD, or behavioral challenges

  • Coordination with schools or other providers when appropriate

Why This Approach Is Used

This level of care is used when the nature and severity of the problem require treatment to occur in real time and in the environments where difficulties are happening.

In these situations, children often need more direct therapeutic support to approach and manage challenges, and parents benefit from guidance during the moments when decisions and responses matter most.

The goal is not simply to provide more therapy, but to deliver the right level of intervention in the moments where it is most needed.

Because this level of care involves significant time and coordination, availability is limited.

If you are considering a more intensive level of support, this can be discussed during the initial complimentary consultation.
